Yoenis Cespedes Notes
With the Detroit Tigers signing slugger Prince Fielder to a 9 year $214 million deal, it looks like the only teams looking to sign Yoenis Cespedes are the Marlins and the Chicago Cubs.
The Tigers were a potential suitors for the Cuban Sensation Yoenis Cespedes.
Yoenis Cespedes has established his residency in the Dominican Republic and is now waiting on approval from Major League Baseball to be declared a free agent.
Cespedes played in the Dominican Winter Leagues, but had a very poor performance. Going in his first five games, two hits, including one of the infield variety, and six strikeouts over his 19 at bats.
